Banning Cyanide Use in Mining Act

AN ACT PROHIBITING THE USE OF CYANIDE IN METALLIC MINING

Summary – This bill prohibits the use of cyanide and cyanide compounds in mining for
metallic minerals and processing metallic ore.

The people of the state of <insert your state here>, represented  in the state Legislature, do enact as follows:

Section 1. Use of Cyanide in Mining.

(A) <Insert applicable state statute> is created to read: “No person may conduct mining or metallic ore processing using cyanide or a cyanide compound.”
